Children and Young People

In partnership with other organisations within the area we offer a wide range of services for Children & Young People. Outdoor Education has always been something that we have keen to develop and in particular Mountain Biking has proven to be very successful amongst young people.

We provide services for primary aged kids in the shape of Junior Youth Clubs, we have 3 Junior Youth Clubs on each week and when kids come along they are given the opportunity to take part in a varied programme of activities which encourage them to develop their personal and social skills.

We also offer Youth Clubs for young people aged 12-18, we do this in partnership with Fet Lor Youth Centre who are another local organisation working within our area. Young People can come along to our youth clubs and take part in a wide range of activities including, football, table tennis, cooking, snooker and much more. We encourage young people to come and learn new skills and t take part in our programme.

As well as these services we also deliver work in various schools across the Inverleith Neighbourhood Partnership Area and this work includes:

  • Cycle Safety Training
  • Internet Safety Workshops
  • Cooking Workshops
  • Gardening Workshops
  • Environmental Workshops
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is another Programme that we offer to young people aged 14-25. We have a great track record in delivering the Award to young people within our area. The Duke of Edinburgh Award allows young people to experience new activities, increase their self-esteem and broaden their horizons.
